Artist Bio
I am a mixed media surrealist artist, and my artwork explores trasformation. identity, and the tension between valnurability and reinvention. Working with graphite, charcoal, ink, layered color and oil paint I create narritive pieces that merge introspective imagery and storytelling.
My figure often apear suspended between states of being, where symbolism and texture trasnlate lived experiance into visual emotional honesty. Through both original works and limited printes I pair technical percision with surreal narritive to build a body of work rooted in emotional depth.
My work is currently featured at The Hive Art Gallery in Decature Indiana. and i available in limited matte fine art printes and limited collectors editions.
The Hatter series
This piece is deeply personal to me- a meditation on loss survival and transformation the shadowed figures in the background are friends that I have lost to addiction each one I loved, Each one I miss the pheonix on the hanging pocket watch represents the beauty of recovery: rising, falling, and rising again from the ashes. The anatomical heart patch on the sleeve is personal too- I’ve always worn my heart on my sleeve, the hatter embodies my own journey of reinvention anmd reclaiming my story

"This piece confronts the rage I carry from childhood trauma—hurt that led to years of self-destruction and digression. Drawing from the Alice in Wonderland aesthetic, the Red Queen became one of my vessels for exploring anger, survival and the masks I’ve constructed. The roses splattered against the wall echo that desperate act of painting the roses red—the exhausting performance of meeting impossible standards, of faking normalcy while carrying wounds underneath the surface. It’s my raw interpretation of how trauma has shaped my identity and the fury that lives in unhealed places."

This is where the journey changes.
The colors are beautiful, the pied pipers are everywhere, and the paths seem almost inviting. But not everything beautify is safe.
The little bird at the entrance is a warning- a last chance to turn around before stepping into a world built on deception.
Three paths lead into madness each one taking you somewhere different. Past, present, future becoming tangled until you can’t tell which way is up and somwhere in it all is Cheshire.
I see myself in him. I have walked these paths. I know what it is to lead people into darkness. But I also know what it is to come back.
now i go back into those places- not to stay, but to help bring people out. #WEDORECOVER

This Piece captures my experiance of disoreinting and freefall into the unknown -letting go without knowing where i’ll land. Drawing from Alice’s tumble doen the rabbit hole, it explores the vertigo of my PTSD and the loss of control that follows trauma, It’s about surrendering to the fall, suspended between what was and what comes next, with no solid ground in sight.
